The Youth Inpatient Unit is a 10-bed inpatient facility for evaluation and short-term treatment of children and youth (8 to 17 years old) who suffer severe emotional disturbances who are not appropriate for less restrictive treatment. Priority consideration for services is given to residents of the Peninsula Regional Support Network. The youth may enter services as a voluntary client or be detained under the Involuntary Treatment Act.

Meets with individuals, families, and run groups, including specialized cognitive counseling, Social Skills Training, Interpersonal Conflict, Support Network building, Communication Skills Training, Boundaries Education, Grief and Loss, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma-Focused CBT, Stress and Anger Management/Frustration Tolerance, Parenting Education and staff/caregiver trainings and consultation as identified in the client's Individual Support Plan (ISP).

Youth Inpatient Unit - 5455 Almira Drive NE, Bremerton
The Youth Inpatient Unit is a 10-bed inpatient facility for evaluation and short-term treatment of children and youth (8 to 17 years old) who suffer severe emotional disturbances who are not appropriate for less restrictive treatment. Priority consideration for services is given to residents of the Peninsula Regional Support Network. The youth may enter services as a voluntary client or be detained under the Involuntary Treatment Act.

Legal and Family Advocacy – Provides assistance and support to those navigating the criminal or civil legal system. This includes safety planning, court accompaniment, filing for orders of protection, advocacy-based counseling, and other referral services.
YWCA of Kitsap County provides services for domestic violence victims and their children.
Bilingual/bicultural advocacy available for immigrant and non-English speaking victims.
